Tutorial for Statistical Industry Data Ignition Key Study

Step 1 :

ni data asal yang Prof mail kat kita.

Step 2:

Create new column for MEANS

Step 3:

- klik dekat kotak bawah MEANS tu.

- then, type in "=" sebelah icon [fx].

- next, klik icon [fx] tu.

Step 4:

- lepas korang klik [fx] tu, akan pop up macam window kat bawah ni.

- Pilih : Select a category : STATISTICAL

           Select a function : AVERAGE

- klik OK.

Step 5:

- lepas korang klik OK, akan keluar lagi satu pop up window kena masukkan data.

Step 6:

- korang terus highlight data B3 sampai F3.

- lepas tu kat window tadi, klik OK.

Step 7 :

- lepas tu dapat jawapan 6.82.

- then, dekat bucu kotak yang aku letak anak panah merah tu, korang klik and drag sampai data bawah sekali and lepaskan mouse.

Step 8 :

- and the result..

Step 9:

- repeat Step 2 till Step 8 untuk column STANDARD DEVIATION, MAX , MINI, RANGE

* bila nak pilih function untuk command..

  - Standard deviation = STDEV

  - Maximum num = MAXA

  - Minimum num = MINA

* dalam command untuk range, klik data MAX- MINI.

  contoh : " = J3-K3"

Step 10:

- they will resulting..

Step 11 :

- calculate for n, xbar, rbar, sxbar, UCL, LCL. noted that d2, was given : d2 = 2.326.

Step 12 :

- now, we're estimating for "n".

- klik dekat yellow-highlighted box tu.

- pergi dekat command box, sebelah [fx], type.." =COUNT(".

- then, highlight 5 data paling bawah macam dalam gambar and tutup bracket.

- ENTER.

Step 13 :

- estimating xbar.

- repeat step 12, but type " = AVERAGE( "

- highlight semua data-data asal. dari B3 till F22.

- tutup bracket and ENTER.

Step 14:

- Do for the others. NOTED, d2 was given.

- command for 

   # sxbar =( rbar/d2) /(sqrt(n) )

   # LCL =  xbar - 3*sxbar

   # UCL = xbar + 3*sxbar

Step 15:

- drawing graph.

- highlight MEANS column.

- klik Insert > Line.

- will resulting like this.

Step 16:

- untuk adjust feature yang lain, sila pergi dekat yang red cicle tu.

- adjust la ikut suka hati korang.

- and line for xbar, LCL and UCL.. draw manually yer.

Step 17:

- n aku punya. haha. ok done. email Prof okay.

- due Ahad ni je.
